2019 theme, "Raising Facilities Management Performance" will focus on the recent standard, ISO 41001:2018 - Facilities Management. It was developed to acknowledge the rapid growth and increased complexity of the practice of facilities management. The International Facility Management Association (IFMA) and the British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) have supported the production of the standard as a method of underpinning the future development of facilities management practice and driving sector-wide quality and innovation.
